Writer's picture: Lucas Van BerkelLucas Van Berkel

Updated: Nov 22, 2022

Release date: From 31 July 2022

This is the first in a series on notable feature releases and updates in SimPRO. I won't be commenting on every release, merely those I think are particularly noteworthy or interesting, or which add functionality worth exploring in more depth.

Total Cost Per Item Now Available Billable Parts & Labour Tab

Not a game-changer, but helpful for those who want to scan the list and see total estimated spend on a product type.

Standard Prebuilds Available for Asset Service Levels

This is huge for those who use Maintenance Planner. Previously, having service level charges limited to flat rate prebuilds meant problems such as not capturing material or labour cost increases, as well as not being able to use piece-rate contractor prebuilds for asset maintenance. (FYI, the best previous workaround was to set your default labour rate to $60 p/h cost rate so that 1min = $1.)

Now your asset maintenance prebuilds will not only respond to changes in your costs, but can also be bulk updated using our kick-ass prebuild bulk update tool.

And in the words of Frank Sinatra (more or less):

Here is the best part

You'll have a head start

If you are among the very

Smart people who have a premium Pro Suite subscription, because they can now use the Pro Suite Prebuild Bulk Updater to easily convert ALL their existing flat rate Maintenance Planner prebuilds to standard rate prebuilds in bulk!
