Prebuilds are one of most powerful features of SimPRO, allowing for quick, flexible, and accurate estimation and billing. 

If prebuilds are a core part of your business, it can be tedious to update them when conditions change, especially if they are not all based on your default labour rates and material markup. 

For example, some businesses prefer to include the labour in their prebuilds, rather than show it separately; in this case, the labour rates - based on defaults box will be unticked.

Unfortunately, when you update the system-wide labour defaults they will not flow through to the prebuilds, requiring manual updating of every prebuild labour rate. Not any more!

With this tool you can simply export your chosen prebuilds, enter your labour cost and sell rates and then import them with the new rates. 

If you want to adjust your markup on a certain group of prebuilds while leaving others unaffected, no problem. Simply export only that group, run it through this tool and reimport the updated prebuilds.

IMPORTANT:

• Designed for Standard Prebuilds only, not Flat Rate.

• Commission rates, attachments and STCs cannot be imported, so these won't be duplicated when creating new prebuilds.

• If updating existing prebuilds, all prebuilds must have part numbers.
